Wer wir sind
„Nur im Wörterbuch steht Erfolg vor Fleiß.“, sagte einst der Starfriseur Vidal Sassoon. Getreu diesem Motto haben Angela und Christina Taska am 1. April 2010 ihren Friseursalon salonlocal in der Studentenstadt Gießen eröffnet. Angela und Christina, Mutter und Tochter, zwei Friseurmeisterinnen, die ihre Leidenschaft zum Beruf gemacht haben. Ihre Philosophie? Authentizität und Persönlichkeit in Einklang mit Individualität und Kreativität zu bringen. Ihre Herausforderung? Angela und Christina ist es wichtig, dass ihre Kunden den Salon in der Liebigstraße mit einem Lächeln auf den Lippen verlassen.
Das salonlocal Team
Christina hat nach ihrer Meisterprüfung von 2011 bis 2014 Modejournalismus und Medienkommunikation an der Akademie Mode und Design in Düsseldorf studiert. Während dieser Zeit machte sie erste Erfahrungen im Mode-Business und durchlief verschiedene Praktika. So zum Beispiel bei der PVH Gruppe im Tommy Hilfiger Headquarter in Düsseldorf. Im Rahmen ihres Studiums arbeitete sie mehrmals auf der Berlin Fashion Week und schnupperte noch mehr Modeluft. Fähigkeiten im Bereich Magazinentwicklung, Konzeptionierung und Editorial Design sowie Erfahrungen in den Bereichen Public Relations, Öffentlichkeitsarbeit und der Umsetzung von Fotoshootings runden ihr Profil ab. Nach ihrem Studium gründete Christina die Kreativagentur Ditaska the creative arts agency, um ihre Fähigkeiten zu bündeln und auf verschiedene Bereiche auszuweiten.
Wenn sie nicht gerade im salonlocal die Köpfe ihrer Kunden stylt, arbeitet sie als freiberufliche Stylistin, Make-up Artistin und Hairstylistin. Zu ihren Auftraggebern gehören etwa der TV-Sender SAT1 oder das Fair Trade Magazin BUY GOOD STUFF.

Who we are
„The only place where success comes before work is in a dictionary.” said the star hair stylist Vidal Sasson. Following this principle, Angela and Christina opened their own salon on 1st April 2010 in the university town Gießen. Angela and Christina, mother and daughter, two professional hair dressers, who turned their passion into work. Their philosophy? To show authenticity and personality along with individuality and creativity. Their challenge? For Angela and Christina it is important that their customers leave their store on Liebigstraße with a smile on their face.
Christina studied Fashion Journalism and Media Communication at the Academy of Fashion and Design in Düsseldorf after completing her craftsman’s examination. During this time, she had her first encounters with the fashion industry and did various placements. For example within the PVH Group in the Tommy Hilfiger headquater in Düsseldorf. As part of her studies she worked at Berlin Fashion Week numerous times and got to know the local fashion scene even better. Experiences in the areas of magazine development, conception and editorial design as well as public relations, marketing and the realization of photo shoots round up Christina’s professional profile. After finishing her degree, Christina founded creative agency Ditaska the creative arts agency, to combine her skills and implement them in different areas. When she isn’t styling her customers’ hair at her salon, she works as a Freelance Stylist, Make-up Artist and Hair Stylist. Her clients include SAT1 (TV channel) and BUY GOOD STUFF, a fair trade magazine.
